"Legato" orchestra was created in 2012. Foundation of the team is formed by talented musicians and graduates of main Moscow universities (Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and others). The orchestra holds concerts in museums and concert halls of Moscow and in Moscow region such as The State Tretyakov Gallery, Shilov gallery, Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno", Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Moscow region "New Jerusalem" and others.
Repertoire of the orchestra includes music of Western European composers (Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni) and of Russian composers (Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Anton Stepanovich Arensky, Sergei Ivanovich Taneyev). Annually the orchestra takes part in events dedicated to Victory Day. Also the orchestra performs sacred music. Ttogether with Moscow Synodal Choir it was performed "St Matthew Passion" by Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev.
Musicians of the orchestra aim to tell the audience amazing beauty of the Music World.
Alex Chuikov, the graduate of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Gnessin Russian Academy of Music is an artistic director and a conductor.
